Pop up pavilion
This summer we built a pop up pavilion in London’s beautiful Holland Park for our annual office party. t was a risky venture. Could we make it in time, would it work, would it rain, would we be arrested by the park police? We reckoned that a bit of adrenaline would only add to the fun.

Week 2-7 - Adventures in 3D printing
Our 3d printing experience continued, for part of this time our machine broke but on the whole it has been very reliable and stable.

Midland Metropolitan Hospital topping out ceremony
The topping out ceremony for Midland Metropolitan Hospital was a great success. The view from the 9th floor over the neighbourhood is panoramic, and we could see into the developing Winter Garden and towards the new Green.

Week 1 - Adventures in 3D printing
At the end of the first week we have actually managed to print some models, ranging from standard 3d models supplied by others to a truss for one of our projects.

Follow our adventures in 3D printing
We have purchased our first 3d printer, an Ultimaker 2+ Extended. This enables us to create all kinds of 3 dimensional forms from block massing and scaled building models, to full size 1:1 mock ups of connections and components.

The Insulating and Achieving Airtightness with Cross Laminated Timber Construction Masterclass at the Building Centre in London last Thursday was a day of in depth technical learning and discussions around the specifics of insulation in wood construction.
