Our housing project in Stratford, London has been covered in the Italian magazine, Struttura Legno, issue 035 - December 2021. Edward Williams Architects designed a Cross Laminated Timber (CLT) project for 4 new residential blocks adjacent to occupied existing brick blocks. Construction using CLT was swift, quiet, and sustainable. CLT has great tensile and compressive strength, thanks to its cross laminated wood plank construction. This fabrication method also allows beautiful exposed surfaces in the interior of the buildings.
