Midland Metropolitan Hospital new drone view, Birmingham, UK
The latest drone footage from Midland Metropolitan Hospital shows the final concrete pours around the Level 2 perimeter almost completed, forming the set backs for landscape terraces between the car park and the podium.
The steel framed energy centre to the north and to the rooftop plant above the wards are both progressing quickly, and the coloured rendered facades to the courtyards are being applied.
Most of the prefabricated external façade panels have been installed and the modular steel riser structures to the end of the ward fingers have been completed and await their final external cladding. The brightly coloured orange Winter Garden steel cores are well underway, with Cores B and C which rise from Level 5 to the roof almost complete, and Core A in the centre which starts at Level 0, so far installed up to Level 5. We are looking forward to see the Winter Garden roof structure installed soon, and this exciting space come to life.
