Midland Metropolitan Hospital new site drone footage
We are excited to share new drone footage which was captured last week, showing the current progress of the Midland Metropolitan Hospital, a brand new, state-of-the-art acute hospital and urban regeneration project for the 530,000 people living in Sandwell and West Birmingham.
Progress on site is rapid, since the drone footage shared in July, the concrete floor slabs are up to the fifth floor level and the concrete structure of the rear cores is completed. The two levels of car park and the three levels of the podium are well defined and so are the seven courtyards. The unitised façade panels are now being installed.
The large circular geometry of the Green to the south is visible. This will act as the heart of the site and provide an unparalleled, valuable amenity space for the local community and the hospital itself.
The project is due for completion in 2018.
