Week 2-7 - Adventures in 3D printing
Our 3d printing experience continued, for part of this time our machine broke but on the whole it has been very reliable and stable.
One of the key criteria we had when choosing the Ultimaker 2 extended + was the clean workflow from Revit to the printer via Cura software, generally it takes us no time at all using the .stl exporter to convert from Revit and copy into Cura.
We have managed to prototype furniture and a staircase that has proved very useful in conversations with manufacturers, contractor and clients.
