Founded in 2011 by Edward Williams and Laura Carrara-Cagni, our studio embodies over thirty years of architectural expertise, both nationally and internationally. With rich histories in leading international practices, our founders have nurtured a culture of excellence in every aspect of our work, from concept to completion.At the core of our practice is the commitment to design beautiful, sustainable spaces that transcend the ordinary. Our work is characterised by a deep respect for the natural world, a passion for innovative design, and a relentless pursuit of quality. International & Diverse
We have wide experience working across all sectors, both in the UK and internationally, bringing best in class practice and design to each project and a busy studio of architects from Europe, America, India and Asia.
Because we have a diverse team and have worked on so many different building types, from single family homes to major hospitals, from office interiors to major cultural projects and from sports venues to interiors and master plans, we are able to bring a wealth of experience to our projects.
Approach
We work with our clients both to understand their aspirations and to develop their brief for each project. We have a wealth of experience in managing and delivering projects of the highest quality for exceptional clients across many sectors, collaborating closely with design and construction teams.
We research best practice, benchmarks and trends to inform discussions with the project and client team. We are asked to lecture widely on both design and technical issues.
We work with physical and digital models, hand sketches, physical samples and mock-ups to develop, describe and test the design.
